
Chao Zheng

Chao Zheng
- Chair, Finance Department; Associate Professor of Accounting and Finance
Chao Zheng earned his doctorate in economics at the University of Connecticut. His research interests include international consumption risk sharing, household portfolio decision, and exchange rate pass-through. He taught various courses, including an honors program in economics and finance during his Ph.D. program.
Prior to his doctorate, Prof. Zheng worked as a financial analyst in a fixed income analysis software company based in Beijing. He also holds a master’s degree in financial engineering from Baruch College - the City University of New York (CUNY), and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Nanjing University, China.
At Carthage, Prof. Zheng is a co-advisor for the CFA Research Competition.
